Love Each Other Deeply

1 Peter 1:20-25
Verse of the Week
22 “Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart.”
~ I Peter 1:22

1) Jesus fulfilled God’s pre-existent plan of salvation and God chose to reveal him in the fullness of time! 

  • I Peter 1:20 – “He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake.”

2) Our faith and hope are in God thanks to the resurrection of Jesus from the dead!

  • I Peter 1:21 – “Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God.”

3) Our sincere love for each other should be the defining aspect of our behavior!

  • I Peter 1:22 – “Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart.”

4) We are born again by the living and enduring word of God!

  • I Peter 1:23 – “For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.”

5) Our time is short but the word of the Lord endures forever!

  • I Peter 1:24-25 - “For, “All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord endures forever.  And this is the word that was preached to you.”

22 “Ahora que se han purificado obedeciendo a la verdad y tienen un amor sincero por sus hermanos, ámense de todo corazón los unos a los otros.”
~ I Pedro 1:22

1) Jesus cumplio con el plan de salvacion pre-existente de Dios y Dios escogio revelarlo en su totalidad!

  • I Pedro 1:20 – “Cristo, a quien Dios escogió antes de la creación del mundo, se ha manifestado en estos últimos tiempos en beneficio de ustedes.”

2) Nuestra fe y esperanza esta en Dios gracias a la resureeccion de Jesus de la muerte!

  • I Pedro 1:21 – “Por medio de él ustedes creen en Dios, que lo resucitó y glorificó, de modo que su fe y su esperanza están puestas en Dios.”

3) Nuestro amor sincero por el projimo debe ser un aspecto que define nuestro comportamiento!

  • I Pedro 1:22 – “Ahora que se han purificado obedeciendo a la verdad y tienen un amor sincero por sus hermanos, ámense de todo corazón los unos a los otros.”

4) Nacemos de nuevo atraves de la palabra viva y duradera de Dios!

  • I Pedro 1:23 – “Pues ustedes han nacido de nuevo, no de simiente perecedera, sino de simiente imperecedera, mediante la palabra de Dios que vive y permanece.”

5) Nuestro tiempo es corto pero la palabra del Senor dura para siempre! 

  • I Pedro 1:24-25 - “Porque ‘todo mortal es como la hierba, y toda su gloria como la flor del campo; la hierba se seca y la flor se cae, pero la palabra del Señor permanece para siempre Y esta es la palabra del evangelio que se les ha anunciado a ustedes."
