Today’s Verses Luke 24:32, Colossians 3:23, I Kings 8:61, Revelation 3:14-16, Matthew 25:1-13, Romans 12:11, I Corinthians 14:12, 2 Corinthians 5:15, Colossians 3:1, 2 Chronicles 16:9, Matthew 25:23, and Matthew 19:29-30
Verse of the Week
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment.”
~ Matthew 22:37-38
1. Since Jesus is coming soon it’s time to “go all in” for Christ.
Luke 24:32 – “They asked each other, ‘Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?’”
Colossians 3:23 – “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”
I Kings 8:61 – “And may your hearts be fully committed to the Lord our God, to live by his decrees and obey his commands, as at this time.”
2. When Christ comes he will be very disappointed in those who are lukewarm.
Revelation 3:14-16 – Christ’s letter to the Church of Laodicea. - ”These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm — neither hot nor cold — I am about to spit you out of my mouth.”
The Parable of the Ten Virgins:
Matthew 25:1-3 – “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them.”
Matthew 25:6-7 – “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’ “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps.”
Matthew 25:10-13 – “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut. Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’ “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’” Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.”
3. What does it look like to “be all in?”
Matthew 22:37-38 – “Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.”
Romans 12:11 – “Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.”
I Corinthians 14:12 – “So it is with you. Since you are eager for gifts of the Spirit, try to excel in those that build up the church.”
2 Corinthians 5:15 – “And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.”
Colossians 3:1 – “Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.”
4. Christ provides us with extraordinary blessings when we are fully committed to him.
2 Chronicles 16:9 – “For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.”
Matthew 25:23 – “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!”
Matthew 19:29-30 – “And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.”

Lucas 24:32, Colosenses 3:23, 1 Reyes 8:61, Apocalipsis 3:14-16, Mateo 25:1-13, Romanos 12:11, 1 Corintios 14:12, 2 Corintios 5:15, Colosenses 3:1, 2 Crónicas 16:9, Mateo 25:23 y Mateo 19:29-30
Salid a recibirlo!’
